This section covers software-related communication issues: DGUS screen with checksum enabled or a changed kernel stops communicating (check system configuration and upgrade the kernel via serial port); DGUS II screen fails to communicate after downloading a CFG file (write 0000 at position 0607 to avoid the 5AA5 clock calibration changing the baud rate); data corrupted by interference or wrong MCU commands (use the serial-wire monitoring method: a USB-to-TTL/RS232/RS485 adapter board taps the GND and RXD/TXD lines so the data the control board sends to the screen is captured and analyzed by the serial tool).
